Today seemed to be a constant waiting game. Waiting for photography to open. Waiting for the photography man to help me. Waiting til MAY12TH to use bookbinding. Waiting for my wood to be cut. Waiting for paint to dry. Waiting for inspiration.
Managed to sort out an idea for another piece tho. I'll hopefully put up picks tomorrow.

- The focus of Grace Gilbey’s work lies in the subject of suburban life, taken from her hometowns of Forest Gate and Stratford in East London. The work tends not to be romantic idealisations of city life, but what she considers to be truthful representations of the decay, deterioration and yet irony found in the underbelly of a wealthy city. The work tends to take on the form of a diptych so as to exaggerate narratives and play on stereotypes. She believes there is no intentional political agenda within the work, but instead focuses on a social commentary of East London.
