Got Wood

Today seemed to be a constant waiting game. Waiting for photography to open. Waiting for the photography man to help me. Waiting til MAY12TH to use bookbinding. Waiting for my wood to be cut. Waiting for paint to dry. Waiting for inspiration.
Managed to sort out an idea for another piece tho. I'll hopefully put up picks tomorrow.

I got to use a spray gun!!!! so much fun...i need to get me one.

The Flats

So here's a 'very nearly finished' piece..need to sort out the ivy and also the thick white panel on the left hand side.
Acrylic..plus a bit of marble dust and talc to make a pretend wall effect...hmmm...have i just given away my secret recipe?

A suck...sess???

So, I've had a few very stressful days in the studio..panicking about the lack of work..and more importantly the quality of the work.
But I'm hoping today may have broken the curse...I had a good tutorial and have managed to make and finish a graffiti piece...fair enough it's no Sistine Chapel, but its a work of art none the less.
I've alse manged to have a mini brainstorm about a few new pieces i want to make in the next few weeks...here's hoping i can make them in time for ASSESSMENT.
In all I've traded the suck...into a success...fuck, I should be a motivationl speaker...imagine me with a pseudo-american accent..."Yeah, trade that SUCK for a SUCCESS. praise the lord."

Thought I'd better put a few pieces up...maybe then I'll know what I cam do next..and also what I can make for my degree show. We were allocated our spaces today, really pleased with the space..lots of light, next to a window...heres hoping I'll make a masterpiece!

Damage Control

The beginning of the end

I've reached the final term. Deary me, the stress is...distressing...lots to do and yet so little time to get it all done...so what better a way to procrastinate then setting up a blog. Well, its not completely pointless, however it should've been started a long time ago.

Painting are going slow at the moment, I'm making a green painting...however its a bit too similar to the red one which I made in October. It's not finished yet, so it may change, fingers crossed for the better!
